Aquata® data platform latest features: New data connectivity and modeling
PowerBI and Tableau Connectivity
The fully-integrated Aquata data platform is designed to complement and enhance your existing technology stack. We're excited to introduce OData Connector that enables connectivity for Power BI and Tableau. This new connector enables seamless integration for Power BI and Tableau users, allowing them to easily connect to and visualize Aquata data within their familiar BI environment.
Self-Service Semantic Layer Modeling
Our improved self-service semantic layer modeling empowers business users to create rich, interactive dashboards by connecting multiple datasets without relying on technical teams. You can now publish independent datasets or join different datasets to create data models for visualization. These custom data models serve as the foundation for building new charts and dashboards. This feature expands your data visualization capabilities and gives you more control over your analysis process.
Automated Delta Lake Maintenance
Our new default platform maintenance service is designed to keep your delta lake tables in optimal condition. This service automatically runs essential maintenance tasks resulting in faster queries, improved data skipping capabilities, reduced storage costs, and enhanced overall performance without requiring manual maintenance. This service includes Z-ordering, compaction, and vacuuming features and operates autonomously, eliminating the need for manual task management and allowing you to focus on extracting value from your data.
Upload Files in Pipelines
We're excited to announce the introduction of a new file upload feature in Pipelines, enabling you to upload files directly from your workspace while configuring or running a pipeline. This enhancement streamlines your workflow by allowing instant testing with uploaded test data and configuring and executing your entire pipeline in a single, seamless process. By eliminating pipeline testing roadblocks, this feature provides a more efficient and user-friendly experience, ultimately simplifying your data processing tasks.
Streamlined Schema Management
We've introduced a self-service delete-dataset feature in the Schema Manager. As teams build, experiment, and grow with the Aquata data platform, they need the flexibility to prune and clean up datasets they no longer need. This addition gives users more control over their data environment, allowing them to efficiently manage their schemas without needing to engage technical support.
We're excited to see how you'll leverage these new features to drive insights and innovation in your organization. Learn more about Aquata here.
